What does Crown actually do?

Crown Studio provides interior design, architectural-design coordination, and project-management coordination for interior and exterior home finishes — cabinetry, countertops, flooring, painting, wallcovering, lighting, window treatments, outdoor kitchens, pavers, and windows / doors. Owners don’t coordinate individual trades; we do.

Do I have to use Crown for everything, or can I pick one service?

Either works. Many clients engage Crown for a single service (countertops only, or just window treatments). Others engage for a full kitchen-and-bath remodel or whole-home refresh.

Where do I see materials?

Our Casselberry, Florida showroom — materials, finishes, fixtures, and design vignettes you can see and touch before deciding. Designer consultations are by appointment.

Where in Florida do you serve?

Crown is based in Casselberry and works with homeowners across Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, and St. Petersburg.

Does Crown Studio do the construction?

Crown Studio provides interior design, architectural-design coordination, and project-management coordination. Accepted construction is contracted through Daniel Jorge Management LLC (DJM), only within its verified scope.

Who provides engineering?

Professional engineering and signing are provided by Apice Engineering LLC through PE Rodrigo DePaula, subject to verification of the required credentials and a written project-specific engagement. Crown Studio is not the licensed engineering or stamping provider.

Is everything under one contract?

No. Design coordination does not create one contract covering every provider; each engagement identifies its responsible entity, scope, fees, and applicable permit responsibilities.

How long does a typical project take?

Variable by scope. A countertop replacement is typically 2–3 weeks from contract to install. A full kitchen remodel is 8–16 weeks. A whole-home refresh is 4–9 months. Specific timelines are confirmed before contract.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is set out in each written engagement, with material allowances itemized. Change orders are documented in writing with cost and schedule impact before work proceeds.

What about warranty?

Warranty terms are defined by the responsible provider in its written engagement. Manufacturer warranties on products are documented as part of project closeout.

Do I need design plans before contacting you?

No. Many clients come in with photos, Pinterest boards, or a vague idea of what they want — that’s enough to start. Crown’s designers translate it into a workable plan during the consultation process.

How is the showroom different from a big-box store?

The showroom is designer-led: the people who plan your project meet you there, and cabinets, stone, flooring and lighting are reviewed together against one design rather than chosen in isolation.

Can I write in Portuguese or Spanish?

Yes. Include your preferred language — English, Português or Español.
